You need to calibrate the Eye Tribe tracker with the Eye Tribe UI. The new version of the Eye Tribe driver (0.9.56) records the last calibration so you don’t need to recalibrate before each session.

For Google, Wikipedia and Amazon, there is a specific injection of the text written in the keyboard in the browser, in order to fill the search field. But for other types of fields, currently it is not implemented yet. We will try to find a solution (could be possible, but it is not easy I think).

Yes currently you must start the grid with the mouse, because the home page is also the entry point to access the settings and other screens which only work with the mouse. We will try to find a way to start the grid automatically in the home page (either with a specific setting or with a timer): this could be added in the next release.
